Obituary

PATTON, Glenn R., age 72, of Wyandotte, March 15, 2023. Beloved husband of Gina Patton. Loving father of Georgina Davis and furbaby Joey. Dearest grandfather of Ember. He is survived by his 3 brothers. He is preceded in death by his son Michael Davis, parents Clifford and Doris Patton, and his sister. Glenn graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1969. He was employed by US Steel as a driver and retired after 40 years. Glenn and Gina met in 1986 at St Paul Lutheran Church in their singles group where they played Wally ball & volleyball weekly. They dated for 3 years when Glenn popped the big question. Married September 7, 1991. Glenn embraced Gina's 2 children Georgina & Michael. Glenn & Gina loved to travel, cruising with friends to many Caribbean islands, annual trips to Lake Michigan, and camping in their fifth wheel, they joined a camping timeshare & enjoyed many bonfires. Glenn enjoyed sitting on the back porch,  coffee in hand & talking to God. His favorite response to what ya doin'? was "just putzing" Granddaughter Ember lived with Glenn & Gina for about 4 years, she loved teasing her Papa, especially on road trips. Glenn was diagnosed with alzheimers after a heart attack in 2016. Glenn & Gina were married for 31 years. I'll be missing you Glenn, I'll hold the fort down with Ember by my side, til we meet again. Love and kisses for your trip. Love Gina
