- Patty was my oldest sister, first born of five girls in the Sanok Family. There were several years between the two of us, so she was quite 'ahead' of me growing up. I remember her working at JLHudson's in Detroit and bringing home stories of the workplace. She was my Sponsor for my Confirmation - and I took her name 'Patricia' as my middle name.I still have a birthstone ring she bought me for the occasion. She and Sonny gave me a lot of their used furniture when I first married...which was so helpful for us starting out. For that I was thankful. We talked often by phone in the last few months and I shall miss her in the days and years to come. My hope is that she didn't suffer too much before the Angels came and took her away. May God be with you and may you rest in peace....Love you Patty! GERRY ROBERTS
- Pat and I met at Boswell Hospital in Sun City when we both were volunteers and immediately connected...she was so pleasant and a joy to know her. I also lived rather close to her condo so it was wonderful and so convenient for visits to our homes. We always had much to discuss - not just the warm weather but situations with volunteering and our friends and families....it was a very comfortable relationship and always most pleasant. When she decided to move closer to family, I knew I would miss her but I had met Susan earlier and was happy that I would be able to keep in touch by phone and the mail. Pat had decided to give up the computer --just too much trouble, she said. We continued our friendship by phone and remembered birthdays - again always keeping up with things. I was so happy that Susan gave me the information when they moved her out of the condo so I was able to call and talk with her a few times. I will miss her but know she is at peace and I am happy that this was a good friend and we met. God Bless You Pat and Your Family Always - in ALL WAYS! Love and prayers, Eleanore Eleanore Strasser
- Pat and I were friends from Boswell hospital and we also lived rather close to one another and got together frequently for visits....there was always something we could discuss or do that we enjoyed together. Both of us had large families so we knew all the happenings and interesting things that were going on. We had lots of time for shopping and things to do in the area even though both of us were so involved with our volunteer work at the hospital... When Pat said she was moving closer to family in Michigan, we continued to talk on the phone and remembered one another's birthdays with cards and the mail. I missed not seeing her but we always had much to say when we talked on the phone and kept up with the important happenings with our friends and family. I called her after Susan told me she was no longer in her apartment and had a few conversations with her...now she is at peace and I will miss our chats, but know she is in a better place. God Bless her and her wonderful family always - in all ways. Dorothy Eleanore Strasser
- Patricia Ann Podzius was known to me as Nana. I remember her as a kind, sweet, fun loving woman who lived a long fruitful life. My earliest memories were of her and Grandpa Speedy coming over to visit us at our house on Willow Cove in Michigan and bringing my sister and I toys. More specifically, I remember a toy helicopter which I thought was the coolest thing ever. I remember traveling to Arizona for the first time and visiting with her at her condo after grandpa Speedy passed. I was sad that day and complained that I had a stomachache, laying on her couch and she told me to get up, stop complaining and enjoy the day. That helped to change my perspective on life. To enjoy each moment despite my perceived circumstances (basically suck it up kid, there’s more to life than your tummy ache.) I enjoyed spending time with her helping her with her computer issues (Windows ME was horrible and so was she with computers and email), I enjoyed watching her make chruscikis in her kitchen and eating them getting powdered sugar everywhere, playing badminton in the street next to her condo, seeing her volunteer at the info desk at Boswell Hospital (she was inspirational to me to volunteer there too). I was thankful to introduce my wife Janina and my oldest daughter Abigail to her during our visit to Michigan in 2013. I’ll miss Nana, but I’m glad she's home with Grandpa Speedy now. Rest in peace Nana. Love you! Jimmy Podzius

- Rick, Jim and Suzan(Jane, Roberta, Bruce) . Mary and I are sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. Between all of us we have spent many fun hours together and a lot of memories , A good memory I will always have with your mom is taking her to Tombstone AZ and having a few beers with her during the tour. I enjoyed her company while trying to tell her stories of what we were doing, it usually didn’t work. Bless you all. George and Mary Fox George and Mary Fox
