Obituary

Sally Ann Peterson, born on November 5, 1943, in Taylor, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, in River Rouge, Michigan, at the age of 81.

Sally was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Alberto and Martha Emeterio; her cherished children, Ronald Gokey and Ira Hicks; her dear brothers, Al Emeterio and Robert Emeterio; and her loving sister, Evelyn Bondy. Sally is also preceded in death by her Ex-husband Ira HicK Sr.

She is survived by her devoted daughters, Kathryn (Ken)  Fournier, and Chenita Facen. She leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Gregory Fournier and Kassie Fournier, and her precious great-grandson, Deacon Nixon. Sally is also survived by her sister, Pam Facen, who held a special place in her heart. Among her closest friends, Dan Blackwell and Mike Grundy shared many cherished memories and will miss her dearly.

Sally's presence in the lives of her family and friends was a source of warmth and love. Her memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.
