Obituary
Steven Dwyne Poore, who graced this world with his presence on April 26, 1952, decided to take his final bow on September 16, 2026, at the ripe young age of 74. He left us from the comfort of his home, undoubtedly leaving behind a trail of fishing hooks, comedy punchlines, and possibly a few unfinished hunting tales.
A man who spent his working years alongside the mighty machines of Ford Motor Company, Steven was as reliable as a well-oiled engine and just as likely to rev up the room with his humor. His passions were as varied as his jokes, with interests ranging from fishing to hunting down the perfect punchline. And let's not forget his singing—he was always ready to belt out a tune, whether in the shower or around a campfire.
Preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Albert, and his sister, Glynda, Steven is survived by a loving family that includes his devoted wife Pamela, his sister Theresa, and a brood of children: his sons Jeffrey, Jason, Justin, and Skip, his daughters Jennifer, and Holly. His legacy extends to 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his penchant for laughter and adventure.
Though he's singing and joking from above, Steven leaves behind a wealth of memories and stories that will continue to bring smiles and laughter to those who knew him. As we say goodbye, remember him with a chuckle and a tale of your own—he would have liked it that way.
