QUIRE, Rita E., age 91, of Southgate, August 27, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth H. Quire. Loving mother of Kenneth (Anita) Quire and Mark Quire. Dearest grandmother of Anthony, Kevin, Nikole and great-grandmother of Sarah, Jake, Noah and Aria. She is preceded in death by her grandchildren Mary Ann and Michael Douglas, her parents Leo and Mary Grady, her brothers Bernard Grady and Michael Grady. Her cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (next to Michigan Memorial Park). Rita belonged to the Southgate Eagles. She was also very active in St. Pius Catholic Church, in Southgate where she served on the church board for a short time, she also helped with the ladies luncheon and participated in various church activities. Rita loved to travel, she visited California, Las Vegas, Texas, New York and Italy which was special a special trip to her. She will be missed by family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I knew her from St. Pius where she made me feel welcome when I first started to attend mass there a few years ago. She was sweet and sassy. I've really missed her at church the last few months. Sharon Largo
