Cleola Marie Roberts, of Southgate, MI previously a resident of Romulus for over 40 years, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 26, 1941, the oldest of eight children, to Clifford and Leola (Drexilius) Peloquin. She grew up in Allen Park, MI. and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Dearborn MI, class of 1960.To cherish her memory, she leaves her husband and love of her life of 56 years Bernard Roberts, four children Bernie (Madonna) Roberts of Allen Park, Beth (Jack) Huffman of Williams Bay, WI, Barbara (Lyle "Butch") Jones of Knoxville, TN and Jennifer (Justin) Tuttle of Woodhaven MI.Cle was also blessed with six loving grandchildren, John Huffman, Alex, Adam and Andrew Jones, and Kevin and Bryan Tuttle. Her grandsons were her pride and joy. She loved spending time with them and going to all their sporting events.In addition, Cle also leaves behind seven siblings- Chris (Ron) Rachfal, Gail (Jim) Kaufman, Pete (Virg) Peloquin, Connie (Scott) Bradley, Jerry (Mary Jo) Peloquin, Tim (Kathy) Peloquin, and Cindy (Rich) Roth and numerous loving nieces and nephews.In addition to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, Cle worked at Dearborn Orthopedics for 20 years, where she developed many long and lasting friendships. Cle and Bernie were parishioners for over 50 years at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Romulus, MI. They made many long lasting friendships along the way. Cle was a devoted catholic woman who was a faithful servant of the Lord.Cle will be deeply missed by everyone who was fortunate to know her, especially her children and grandchildren. We were all blessed to know and love this special lady, from whom we loved so much.
