It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Faye Rose, who departed this life on June 13, 2026, in New Boston, Michigan, at the age of 66. Born on August 29, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, she brought joy and warmth to those around her throughout her life.
Donna was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Stephanie, whom she thought of often. She leaves behind her cherished sons, Chris and Shawn (Amy Kenley) Vanbrimer, who loved her dearly. Her mother, Jenny Hagaman, survives her, providing strength and love throughout her life.
The joys of Donna's life were her grandchildren, Cayden and Peyton VanBrimer, whom she adored and supported in all their endeavors. She loved attending their sporting events, always cheering them on with pride.
A lover of nature, Donna found peace and happiness in gardening, particularly in tending to her beautiful flowers. Her home was a testament to her green thumb, filled with vibrant blooms and lush greenery. She also had a special place in her heart for her dogs, Molly and Saddie, who were her loyal companions through the years.
In her retirement, Donna embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. She enjoyed exploring new places with her friends and was always eager to try new things, especially when it came to discovering new restaurants. Her adventurous spirit and zest for life were an inspiration to all who knew her.
She is also survived by her brothers, Byron, Dwayne, and Kevin Hagaman, who will remember her fondly as a loving sister.
Donna touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends, who will miss her deeply but find comfort in knowing she is now at peace.
