RISTAU, Ingrid A., age 78, of Westland, February 12, 2017. Beloved wife of Gerald Ristau. Loving mother of Dan (Lori) Ristau. Dear grandmother of Rachael Ristau. She is also survived by her brother Jack Sorwick. She is preceded in death by her sons Jim Ristau and John Ristau and her parents Ivar and Anna Marta Sorwick. Ingrid was a secretary for many years at John Glenn High School. Ingrid’s husband Gerald cared for her while she suffered from Alzheimer’s. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alzfdn.org. Her cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
