Obituary
Kenneth Leon Ross, affectionately known as Kenny, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, in Wyandotte, Michigan, at the age of 66. Born on October 27, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, Kenny brought joy and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A gifted mechanic by trade, Kenny embodied the spirit of a true tinkerer. His love for working on cars was matched only by his enthusiasm for NASCAR and his impressive collection of diecast models. Those who knew Kenny well will fondly remember his penchant for dad jokes, his humorous Donald Duck voice, and his unwavering ability to see the good in everyone. He never spoke an unkind word, and his selflessness showed in the way he always put others before himself.
Kenny's love extended beyond his family and friends to include his cherished furbabies, Moe and Jasper. He found great joy in fishing trips with his daughters at Luna Pier, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Preceded in death by his devoted parents, Noah and Yvonne Ross, beloved siblings Earl and Roxanne, long-time companion Sandy McLeod, and furbaby Trixie, Kenny's passing leaves a void that will be felt by many.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Olivia Hensley; his loving children Amanda (Joshua Lee) Gordon, Laura Mcleod, Brandy (Korey) Casdorph, and Jonathan Grocki; and his adored grandchildren John Pat, Kameron, Antonio, Mya, Nevaeh, Tony, Alijah, and his sbilings Sherri, Noah, Tony, Cindy, and Vicki. Kenny's legacy of kindness and humor will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
In remembering Kenny, we celebrate the life of a wonderful person, whose warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the joy of being part of his life.
