Obituary

A Life ended too soon.

Kenneth Rahmoeller, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 26, 2023 at the age 66. Ken was a chemist extraordinaire. His passion for chemistry started at a young age when he received his first chemistry set. He received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Illinois and worked as a Senior Research Chemistry at GM. He loved computer gaming, our cats, old castles and travelling to the UK, even though he hated flying. He was also an avid gardener, everyone complimented him on all his beautiful flowers. Ken also had a great sense of humor that kept his family and friends laughing. Later in life he discovered he had a love for writing and will soon be a published author.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Eileen, and his two children Danielle and Sean, plus a house full of adorable cats. He was proceeded in death by his father Reverend Norman Rahmoeller and survived by his mother Lois, brother David (Debbie) and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association or your local animal rescue.

Condolences

  • I am fortunate to have had a friendship with you, Ken. You are loved and missed. Rest well. Allyson Haag
  • I enjoyed working and laughing with Ken during his work with Fuel Cells in Fenton. He was very passionate and enthusiastic about his family and hobbies and know he'll be dearly missed. What a chatterbox....an endearing quality in a man. He was so capable, very caring and quite funny. I'm glad to have known him and feel the loss. RIP my friend. Stephanie Surface
  • Dear Eileen, Danielle and Sean,  Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.
