Lavada Roberts, aged 81, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Detroit, Michigan. Born on July 14, 1943, in the small town of Coleman, Kentucky, she lived a life marked by warmth and creativity.
Lavada was a talented and passionate individual whose love for knitting, crocheting, and embroidering brought beauty into the lives of those around her. Her intricate creations were cherished by family and friends, serving as a testament to her patience and skill.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brian Roberts, who was her steadfast partner and companion throughout many years of marriage.
Lavada leaves behind a loving family who will carry forward her memory: her children, Madelaine (Michael Jones) Roberts, Jody (Peggy) Roberts, and Walter Roberts; granddaughter Ashlyn Roberts; step-grandchildren Jerry Vallade, Brenton Vallade, and Elizabeth Vallade; and great-grandchild Aiden.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and legacy will live on through the generations she leaves behind. Lavada's gentle presence and artistic spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.
