Condolences

  • No words can express the sadness and pain of losing a parent but we can only hope that they will meet up with their spouse - love and life partner that went before them and has greeted them, along with many friends and family, who have been waiting as they continue their journey to a place that is free of pain and filled with love, joy and pure HAPPINESS. Your mom was a wonderful woman and she did have a heart of gold and very very thoughtful. I certainly enjoyed our conversations and I was always careful to not talk too much about politics because I knew she was ready LOL. I will always remember the Christmas Cookies she would bake and share with the Gant Family but I remember getting my own cannister and eating them and feeling like I was in heaven because they were so good - man could she bake! I will always remember your mother's eyes - they were beautiful and she was a very beautiful lady and I could see why your father loved her so much. When I would look at your mom and dad - I saw the love that he had for her but I could also see the love she had for him but mostly I observed the understanding and true partnership they had for one another - they had the same look my parents had for each other and I see when you and Keith look at each other - it's the same look. I learned over time, during our family gatherings and look at each of you from afar, this is the look of LOVE and RESPECT and what it means to be husband and wife - TOGETHERNESS ONE SOUL. I will miss Mr. & Mrs. Reddig but I do know they are together HAPPY and right now, chatting up a storm of what they are going to do next and who they will visit during their forever journey. Again, I am sorry for you loss and I wish I could have been there to hug you... With deepest sympathies and love, Jackie G Jackie Gant
