Obituary

RICKER, Marian E., age 90, of Riverview, May 16, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Howard Ricker. Loving mother of Elizabeth (James) Smith and George (Beverly) Ricker. Dearest grandmother of Courtney Rorke, Jeremy (Sarah) Smith, Catherine Ricker and Danielle Ricker and great-grandmother of 7. She is preceded in death parents Mary Scherer and Jospeh Meixner and her 2 brothers.

I have many fond memories of Marian and Howard Ricker. While growing up, Liz and I would spend some time during the summer staying with each other ... Liz as the city cousin and me as the country cousin. Both Marian and Howard were patient and tolerant of our crazy adventures. I’m sure there were times they needed to remind us to toe the line, but I only remember smiles (maybe eye rolls). I am so thankful that we were able to celebrate Marian’s 90th birthday with her last summer. My prayers are with George and Liz and their families. ♥️ Cheryl Roberts
Even though I have only known Marian for a short 6 months we have had many talks in the lounge area of the floor of our building. She was such a nice, caring lady. My condolences to the Family. Judy Borawski
