Obituary
Patrick A. Reames, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on January 10, 2025, in Wayne, Michigan, at the age of 63. Born on January 8, 1962, Patrick lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.
Patrick dedicated his professional life to serving his community as a Sanitation Laborer for municipal services, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. Outside of work, Patrick brought joy to everyone around him with his infectious sense of humor and zest for life. He was truly the life of the party and took great pleasure in making others laugh.
His passions included riding his cherished Harley-Davidson motorcycles, traveling to new places, and spending time with family and friends. Patrick found immense joy in dancing with his dear wife of 37 years, Kelli, and together they created a lifetime of beautiful memories. Patrick also found joy in cooking, and even took culinary classes to further his experience.
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Reames; his brother, Kenneth Reames; and his sister, Marsha Moritz. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kelli; his loving sons, Ryan and Kyle Reames; his mother, Patricia Reames; his siblings, Kandi (the late Al) Feigel, Marshall (Tammy) Reames, and Charles "Chip" (Jennifer) Reames; his sister-in-law, Vickie Reames; his brother-in-law, Dennis Moritz; and several cherished nieces and nephews. Patrick also leaves behind his adored fur-babies: Diesel, Pebbles, and Jasper.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service to honor Patrick's life will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Following the service, Patrick will be taken on a final ride in a customized Harley-Davidson hearse, accompanied by close family and friends.
Patrick will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his warm spirit, his love for adventure, and the laughter he brought into the lives of those he met. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
