Obituary

Sakcriska, Allen D., age 68, of New Boston, November 6, 2022. Beloved husband to Donna Sakcriska. Loving father to Julie Morris (Donald) and Amy (Walter Kotelniski). Dearest grandfather to Tyler, Sean, Ryan, and great-grandfather to Roman. He is survived by his siblings Sandy Trogu and Glenn Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents Elva Sakcriska and Harold Smith, and grandfather Almarine Broome. Allen was very active in his church, playing the drums with the worship team and being a small group leader. He loved camping, being around people, and especially his family helping with any project. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations that would provide a child the opportunity to attend FA HO LO summer church camp. FA HO LO held a special place in Allen's heart, it is where his parents met, and where his fondest childhood memories were made. Five generations of his family have experienced the blessings of being a camper at FA HO LO, and the family would love for other children to get to experience the same.

If you would like to donate in honor of Allen, please write "Send a Child to Camp" in the note section.

  • I'm still so sad, it's hard to come home by your house most mornings from work. I can only give my prayers to your entire family. I will miss you my friend. • We will miss our dear friend! We are thankful for the years we had together from the time God brought us together in Germany. Al always served to honor the Lord in all he did. Our prayers and love to Donna and the family. Bob and Bette Sue MacIsaac

  • Uncle Allen, I never got to thank you. You honestly were such a light in our family and I never realized it until now. You always encouraged me to commit to memory the truth of the Bible and you and Donna always helped me go on missions trips, which were monumental in shaping my relationship with Christ and who I am as a person today. I hate that I disappeared for ten years and was too afraid to reach out to you when I came back to my senses. Thank you for being who you are and always pointing to Jesus, which is who we need most in this life. I hate that I wasn’t there to see you one last time here on earth. Celebrating Christmas will never be the same. So many memories of going to you and Aunt Donna’s, where everyone could be together for once. my hope is that you’re no longer in pain, and that I will see you again after all of this. I love you uncle Allen, and thank you so much for being who you were. I’m just so sorry about everything. My heart is so broken over this. thank you, Donna for your kindness to me. I can’t imagine what you’re feeling, and I’m so sorry about everything. I love you both so much. Praying for you. And for healing to fill the deep, gaping hole that I know uncle Allen left behind. With love, Faleasha Faleasha Lynn Triunfo
  • Your walk here might be finished, but the foot steps you left and impact you made, will be seen and felt for generations. How can I says that? I feel your impact everyday. Prayers to your family. Dan Daniel Squire
