Obituary

Benny Villa Sevilla, a cherished resident of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on March 18, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, Benny lived a full and vibrant life, enriched by his love for the simple pleasures.

He was the beloved son of the late Martini Sevilla and Helen Burgess and was preceded in death by his daughter, Trina Sevilla; great-grandson, Alan Rogers III; and brothers, John, Marty, and Frankie Sevilla.

Benny's memory will be lovingly cherished by his surviving family: daughters Cindia Rose Roznoski, Elizabeth Sevilla, and Tyia Sevilla; son Benny Sevilla Jr.; and grandchildren Michael, Alan, Ryan, David, John Andrew, Audrianna, Josslynn Sevilla, Sabrina, Tyler, and Adam along with numerous great-grandchildren.

Benny's life was characterized by his deep passion for flea marketing, feeding the birds and squirrels, hunting, camping, and fishing. He found tranquility and delight in visiting Greenfield Village, where he immersed himself in the historic charm and serenity it offered.

Benny proudly served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1972. His courage and dedication during those years are fondly remembered by all who knew him.

In his later years, Benny shared his life with his girlfriend of 29 years Debbie Perri, and he maintained a fond connection with his ex-wife, Patula Sevilla. His loyal cat, Tootsie, was ever-present by his side, providing comfort and companionship.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the funeral home on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by the burial at Parkview Cemetery.

In Benny's passing, we remember him not only for the life he led but for the love and joy he brought into the lives of those who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of treasured memories that will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
