Obituary
Cheryl Lynn Soubliere, born on June 23, 1952, passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 72.
Cheryl had a true passion for gardening and found joy in the beauty of dragonflies that buzzed around her gardens. Above all, she cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life. Cheryl dedicated her life to caring for others, having worked as an OR Nurse at Beaumont Hospital, where she was respected and loved by both colleagues and patients alike.
She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly: her children Paula (Steve) Scowden, Melissa Soubliere, Jason Soubliere, and Lindsay (Thomas) Ireton; her cherished grandchildren, Marina Scowden, Layla Ireton, and Tully Ireton; and her brother Robert Cherney. Cheryl is also fondly remembered by her nieces Pam, Angela, and Rachel.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Dorothy, who now welcome her to eternal life
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by a service at 6:30 PM. Family, friends, and all whose lives Cheryl touched are invited to celebrate her life and remember the joy she brought to those around her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family to aid with funeral expenses. Cheryl's warmth, kindness, and generous spirit will be remembered always by those who knew and loved her.
Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
