Obituary

STYERS, Constance M., age 94, passed away on November 2, 2022 in Brownstown Twp., Michigan. Beloved mother of Steven (Debra) Styers of Omaha, Nebraska, and Carol (Russell) Cameron of Grosse Ile;  Dearest grandmother of Nicholas (Allison Hile) Cameron, Colleen (Adam Ingraham) Cameron, and Cassie (Ross) VonMinden and great-grandmother of Cecilia, Jack and Blake;  Loving sister of Catherine Jarman of London, England and aunt to several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jack Styers, her parents and brothers Tony Williams and John Williams.

Connie was born April 21, 1928 in Gloucester, England to Reginald Williams and Nell (Burford) Williams.  She met her husband of 67 years, Jack Styers, while he was stationed in England. She left her family and friends at age 24 to travel by boat to the United States where they were married. While living in Southgate, MI, she worked at Symak’s Restaurant in Lincoln Park for 25 years. Retirement years were spent in Clare/Farwell area.  Even in her later stages of Alzheimer’s she always had a sweet smile for everyone and will be greatly missed.
