Condolences
- I’m without words... Dan was a amazing and kind man. We used to have so much fun at JB’s bar in Sumter. He will forever be in my heart ❤️ and that of his love ones and friends. Toni
- I have been in complete disbelief about the passing of Dan. He was such a kind soul and over the years he has been such a huge supporter of me and our company. He always went above and beyond...it was in his nature. He spoke of his family and had so much pride and love for each of you. I was always so appreciative of him and all he did through the years. He will be missed. His kindness. His laughter. His joy for life. I was blessed to know him. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Matie Baker
- Forever in our hearts..Fond memories where we met at Jacks Landing Resort.Rest in peace... Denny and Helen
- We are so sorry for the loss of Dan. We met him and Seth at Jack's Landing fishing one year. We had a great time...was such a nice guy. Prayers to all of you at this time. David & Teresa Cosby
- Dan was an incredible, giving, knowledgeable, happy-go-lucky friend to many people. He would do anything for anyone. He had a big heart and always made us smile. His laughter and love will continue to shine and warm our hearts forever. Dan had such a strong bond that was so special with his son Seth. He was so proud of the man Seth has become. Dan was a great hard working role model for Seth. We were extremely lucky to become friends with Dan through baseball. Our son and his teammates loved Dan! He was always there for them supporting and providing for the team in many ways. We are grateful for all you did for the love of our kids and for the game of baseball. We will always have you in our hearts coach! Love ya, Stan, Carri Steffen Dyl and Fred & Pat Baugh Carri Dyl
- My sincere condolences on the loss of your father. Seth, you truly were his pride and joy and will always be. Dan, will be truly missed. He was an incredible father, friend, a great apple pie maker , and so much more. He was taken way to soon, but always remember. How he lived his “dash”. You and your Dad enjoyed a beautiful life, filled with so many memories. Treasure them, I pray they will help to get you through the most difficult time of your life. He will always walk with you, he guided the way to make the terrific young man you are. I’m always here, whenever needed. Love ya. #DashPoem Jenny McCarthy
- Still in disbelief over this....Michelle and I go way back to our teen years knowing Dan...Seth I loved harassing your dad over how he had to keep up with you in gaining muscle mass at the gym...Your dad lived for you, please find that comfort in knowing he will continue to walk beside you as you go on in life...My deepest sympathy to everyone that has been effected in this great loss. We were all lucky to have him in our lives and knowing him....xoxo Roseanne
