SCHOFIELD, David A., age 80, of Trenton, previously from Taylor, August 18, 2021. Beloved husband of Shirley Schofield. Loving father of David (Jill) Schofield and Michael (Sara) Schofield. Dearest grandfather of Brooke, Tyler (Rikki), Alexis, Austin, Aidan, Allison and great grandfather of Hunter and Marlee. Cherished brother of Richard (Lillian) Schofield, Linda Stoddard, the late Bill (Lori) Schofield and the late Fred (Loretta) Schofield. He was also survived by his dear friends Ronald and Ester Smith of Marianna, Florida. David was passionate about his Teamsters, U of M football and woodworking. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents Myrtle and Howard Schofield and Juanita (Travis) Kauffman. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Dad you left us so suddenly, I wish I could figure out what was the downfall that put you in the nursing home, ( other than wanting to see mom), I know that you struggled with living alone but you know we we’re always here for you, and our master plan of moving out of Michigan always included you living with me & Jill , but I guess God needed you more, I understand that now your with most of the family and rejoicing in the heavens and I know you’ll be forever watching over us ….
