SCHAFER, David C., age 79, of Flat Rock, November 26, 2018. Beloved husband of Pat Schafer. Loving father of Kelli Hamilton and Carri (Bill) Provencher. Dear grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 3. Dearest brother of Donna (Duane) Schiller and Joanne Schafer. He is also survived by his godmother Eleanor Gyvis, son-in-law Ken Sischo, sisters-in-law Lori (John) Paul and Luann Konarske, nephews Daniel, Matthew and Bobby, Niece Ashely, great nephews Colton and Caleb and great niece Cameron. He was preceded in death by his daughter Wendy Sischo, parents Ernest and Irene Schafer, son-in-law Leo, brothers-in-law Dan Konarske and Bob Brush and nephew Michael. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
