- I've had the privilege to work with Dave over the course of several years. As others have noted, he was always willing to go the extra mile to always help in any way that he could. From a professional perspective, I have always respected and appreciated Dave. But, it was at the start of the pandemic that I really got to know Dave as the man that he was rather than just a colleague. We worked side-by-side producing PPE for First Responders. We laughed, a lot, and I always enjoyed passing the hours with him. We had lunch together, everyday, for months. During that time, I learned so much about Dave. One thing was very clear, his family was everything to him. I can't begin to imagine the hole that's left in the hearts of those who loved Dave. To Dave's family, thank you for sharing him with us. Please know that my soul was enrichened simply from the time that I spent with Dave. He was funny, smart, charismatic, helpful...and had myriad of kind qualities to offer us all. But most importantly, I NEVER heard him utter a negative comment about anybody, and that is a rare quality in people in these trying times. But that exemplifies who Dave was, truly a good man, with a warm and genuine heart. I will miss you my friend, and thank you for all that you've done for us all. Rest in Peace. -Sean Sean Wicks
- I am sorry for the families loss. The General Store at Ford DSP thrived once Dave took it over and he never stopped making it better. He realized the important role his position played in this large stamping plant and how he could be key to the success of the Skilled Trades weekly maintenance and special plant projects. He allowed us to be better at our jobs. I will miss working with him, but more importantly, I will miss him. Shawn Matras

- Dave will be missed both at work and outside of work. He was one of those people that you can count on and to do the right thing. He was always smiling and with a joke. I will miss him given he would not mind being called at the early parts of the morning to help the plant out. Steven Kosinski
