Obituary

     Donald Bruce Sullivan, age 68, a resident of Maybee, MI, passed away on April 4, 2024, in Westland, MI. He was born on May 9, 1955, in Detroit, MI, to the late James H. and Beverly (Geyer) Sullivan. Donald's twin brothers, Robert and Michael Sullivan, and his sister, Karen Muzia, also preceded him in death.

     Donald worked as a Dietician at the VA Hospital and was known for his dedication to his profession. He served with honor in the US Army, stationed in Germany, where he became an expert marksman with the M15 rifle and earned the Grenade decoration.

     Among his interests, Donald especially loved being outdoors, tending to his flower garden, and spending time with his beloved pet dogs. He had a passion for music, particularly disco tunes that brought joy to his heart.

     He is survived by his niece, Jai Washington, and his dear friend, Shawn Cicotte, who shared many cherished memories with him.

     A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI, on Monday, April 22, at 1 PM. Donald's service to our country will be honored during the service.

     Donald Bruce Sullivan will be deeply missed by all who knew him for his kind heart, hard work, and love for his country and family. May he rest in peace.
