- George, his first wife Helga, and Sharyl were a huge part of my life, and later just George. He was our neighbor, and my parents best friend. He was as close to an uncle as I ever had. The last time I saw him, he and Andre came to my moms funeral. I am just heartbroken by this news. May he be listening to Wagner loud in heaven. Rip. Pammy Zinger Pam Zinger

- Here it is, 2024, and I am just now hearing of Dr. Schmidt's passing. Dr. Schmidt, Helga, and Sharyl were my family's dear nextdoor neighbors for decades. They were a very happening, stylish family with a lively social calendar. I remember Dr Schmidt never got mad when Sharyl repeatedly blew the speakers out of his Cadillac listening to Barry White.
