SLATTEN, E.J., age 83, of Flat Rock, passed away on May 12, 2011. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to the late Marie Slatten. E.J. passed away only 15 days after his dear wife. Loving father of Debra (Rick) Peliter and Jerry Slatten. Loving grandfather of Jason (Tammy), Regena, Jennifer (Eric) and Jessica and great-grandfather of Courtney, Kyle, Corey, Brook and Wyatt. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Cindy, his “adopted son” Tom (Norma) Justice and his special friend Jack Wyman. He is preceded in death by his son Danny Slatten, his parents Alex and Minnie Slatten, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
