SMITHEY, Edward D., age 75, of Newport, February 02, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Peggy Smithey. Loving father of Shelly Harris, Duane Smithey, Julie Benore and Kathy Benore. Dearest grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 14. He is preceded in death by his step-sons Jamie Benore and Chris Benore, his parents Annabell and B.D. Smithey and his brother Jerry Smithey. His cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
