Obituary

Edward M.”Big Ed” Subyak was born on August 19, 1949 and passed away on February 11, 2022 at the age of 72 in Trenton, Michigan. Edward is the beloved husband of Sandra. Together, they have 2 kids, Chopper (Colleen) Subyak and Brandi Subyak. Edward is the dearest Papp to Jessica (Andrew) Alley, Loren Subyak, Tara Subyak, Jessica (Tanner) Bowman and Christian James. Also, a very proud great-grandfather to Axel, Zayne and Nora. Edward also leaves behind his brother, Adam (Carla) Subyak, many loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Brandi and his parents, Stephen and Clara, and by his 3 brothers Earl, Frankie and David. For those who knew Edward, knew he also went by the name “Big Ed”. He knew no stranger and treated everyone he came across as family. He loved to have parties at his house, and was the true meaning of a family man, and dearest friend. August 19th is a special day for Edward, as he also shares his birthday with his granddaughter, Tara. Big Ed will be eternally missed, loved and remembered. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Donations can be made to Monroe Humane Society.
