SZYMANKIEWICZ, Edwin R., age 72, of Wyandotte, January 25, 2022. Proud, loving father of Autumn (Aaron). Dearest grandfather of his little buddy Gage. He is also survived by his siblings Anthony (Crystal), Joyce, Marlene, Aunt Delphine, Uncle Don and his niece and nephews. Rick was a proud Marine who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his nephews and brother, golfing, Johnny Cash, Diet Vernors and Romas Pizza. He was always having a good, happy time and wanted to make everyone smile. He was a member of the Marine Core League Wyandotte, and a member of P.L.A.V. POST 74. He is preceded in death by his parents Helen and Edwin, brother Robert, sister Geraldine, nephews Bobby and Rick, and brother-in-law Glen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
