STARKEY, Eleanor, age 87, of Taylor, April 11, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Malewski and Richard Starkey. Loving mother of Kris (David) Peters, Lisa (Mike) Zajac and Michael (Annette) Malewski. Dear grandmother of Jennifer (Nathan), Zack (Andrea), Jake, Olivia, Chelsea (Connor), Brooke and Michelle and great-grandmother of Eleanor, Henry, Austin and Sydney. She is preceded in death by her son Bob Anthony, her parents Thomas and Zona Garrison and Jason Peters. Eleanor, better known as Ellie, was a life long member of the Church of Christ in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Ellie enjoyed writing poems and reading books. You could often find Ellie at Elizabeth Park in Trenton, having a small lunch while reading a book or at Elliots bakery in Trenton visiting with friends over a cup of coffee and donut. One of Ellie's favorite memories was marching in the Thanksgiving day parade in the late 1940's with the Lincoln Park High school band, leading Santa Claus to the Hudson building in downtown Detroit.
