Obituary
Elizabeth (Betty) Smalley, 95 years of age, passed on August 17, 2022 at Beaumont Hospital.
Betty was born September 16, 1926 in Scotland. She is the oldest of four children. Betty moved to the United States in 1961. Upon moving she became a dedicated employee at the A & P store for 35 years. She married the love of her life Harold in 1974. The two were always on the go. They loved to go to the horse races, casino, travel with family members, watch their grandchildren play sports, and spend time working around their yard together. She was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church in Woodhaven, Michigan.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold, parents, brother Tommy, sister Anne, sons-in-law, Chuck and Dan, and daughter in-law Bonnie. She leaves behind four step-children Kay Smith, Michele Parvin, Juno Smalley, and Pat (Jim) Mitchell. Grandchildren Esther (Justin) Aikey, Michael (Melissa) Sielski, Jason (Jennifer) Parvin, Sarah (Michael) Dunn, Jessica (Sean) Mitchell, Andrew (Mandee) Parvin, Matthew Parvin, & Mckenzie (Brandon) Newling. She was also the great grandmother to 15 wonderful great grandchildren.
