Condolences

  • Donna and family I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great lady. I remember how much fun we had when we took our moms to Chicago. They were like teenagers went to the makeup counter at Marshall Field’s and had their make up done. Your mom looked so beautiful. They laughed And had a great time. Love and prayers as you go through this difficult time. Elaine and Mike Adkins Elaine Adkins
  • Tonight when I shared the sad news about “Grandma Elsie” with my daughters, Kelsey reminded me of her adventures to Grandma’s house with Devon and Doreen and the cutest and sweetest Rottweiler that lived next door. I first met your Mom and Doreen 25 years ago… how is that possible, when Doreen and her were walking through Pembrooke around the time they had picked their “dream” lot and house. I happened to be outside and we struck up a conversation and the rest is history. So many stories, laughs, memories and moments from the casino, craft shows and Shipshewana adventures and all the holiday celebrations Bridget Delaney-Adams

  • As the gates of heaven open to welcome my Grandma I cherish the memories of huge Christmas gatherings, garage sales, and spending the night in the feather bed. Even as an adult my Grandma still called me by my childhood name “pookey.” I can still hear her voice in my head. She was loved dearly by my brother, Darin who will pass on many memories to her youngest great grandson Lachlan. I love you Grandma! Please give my mom a huge hug for me when you see her. - Devon (Pope) FERA. Devon Fera
