SOKOLOWSKI, Emma R., age 84, formerly of Wyandotte, June 20, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Richard Sokolowski. Loving mother of Lisa (Jerry) Mullins, Anthony (Esther Ledesma) Dye, Mary Jo (Rafael) Ledesma and Bobbi (Alan) Parsons. Dearest grandmother of Tina, Jason (Victoria), Amanda, Eric (Kristina), Chelsea, Breanna, Julian, and Emma and great-grandmother of Sarenity, Aurora, Everett and Willow. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Josie Carter and her brothers, Ted Carter and Rob Carter.

Dearest Grandma (Maw), Thank you grandma for being the light of our lives not just now but since we can remember. Never once is there a memory in life when you weren’t there. We celebrate your life as a beautiful soul, a beautiful human to never be forgotten. You are going to live on through all of us. We carry you forever in our hearts and I can absolutely tell you “Maw” Willow will always know you. As will I carry you in my heart forever and always.
