STANLEY, Gene, age 86 of Newport, August 9, 2014. Beloved husband of Atwood Stanley. Loving father of Linda Sue Markus, Danny (Bonny) and Jo Ann Hicks. Dearest grandfather of Sherri, Kristi, the late Mikey, Jim, Brandon, Randy, Amy, great-grandfather of Carlos, Gracie, Hanna, Andrea, Jimmy and great-great-grandfather of Madeline, Addison and Amelia. He is also survived by his brothers Johnie (Ruth) Stanley and Paul (Ermalee) Stanley. He was preceded in death by his parents Teddy R. and Cosby Stanley, his brother Clayton and his sister Lucille. Interment in Michigan Memorial Park.
