Obituary

STENCEL, George, age 54, of Belleville, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 06, 2020. Everybody who knew George loved him, he was extremely easy to get along with and had a sense of humor that was unmatchable. His grandchildren were his world and he was excited to have a 4th one on the way. George loved attending Lions games with people he loved and spending as much time with his family as he could. George is preceded in death by mother, Ilene and father, John. He is survived by wife, Cathy Stencel; children Rebecca Johnson, Amanda (Matt) Rue, Anthony (Kathleen) Briones; siblings Kathleen, (James) Utley, Michael (Michelle) Stencel, Stephen (Crista) Stencel, Paul (Kathleen) Stencel; grandchildren Scott Johnson, Brandon Johnson: Lillian Briones and many nieces and nephews. His cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Condolences

I could not have asked for a more wonderful, funny and loving brother-n-law. He was always so caring and thoughtful and I always knew he loved me. He didn't express his feelings much but he had a way of making you feel important. I will miss him. I'm sure he is in heaven making his family and friends laugh. He may even give the Lord a chuckle.
