Obituary

Georgia Elizabeth Siders, born on July 12, 1938, in Jackson City, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, in Rockwood, Michigan. She was 87 years old.

Georgia was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met, and her presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. A woman of simple pleasures, Georgia found immense joy in the company of her family, delighting in their gatherings and shared moments. She was also known for her love of cooking, which brought her children and grandchildren together around her table, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. Georgia had a knack for finding hidden treasures at secondhand stores, a hobby that reflected her appreciation for the beauty in the ordinary and the joy in discovery.

Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Siders; her beloved granddaughter, Kendall Siders; and her siblings, Jessie Rowley, Ellen Canterbury, Eunice Hudson, Glen Ashby, Dayton Ashby, and Nina Canterbury.

She is survived by her loving children, Brenda Sue Vernon, Edward Siders, and Sharon (Mark) Wallace. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, William Yambasky, Matthew Siders, Nina Vadaro, and Sanja (Ken Massicotte) Vernon, as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Katelynn Siders, Briana Grimm, Ryan Grimm, Lexi Linzell, Nicholas Smarr, Bentley Vadaro, and William Gillian. Her family tree extends further to her treasured great-great-grandchildren, Kaydenn Reno, Brian Miller III, Kendall Miller, and Nyehli Clayborn.

Family and friends are invited to honor Georgia's life at a visitation on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. A service will follow at 4:00 pm. Interment will be private.
