SHURTZ, Gerald L., age 83, of Taylor, February 06, 2018. Beloved husband of Marlene Shurtz. Loving father of Marty Shurtz, Rob (Shelly) Shurtz, Bruce “Bud” (Annette) Shurtz, Timothy (Sherri) Shurtz, stepchildren David (Judy) Guffey, Dale (Teri) Guffey and DeeAnna (Rick) Tyra. Dear grandfather of 24 and great grandfather of 34 and great-great grandfather of 3. He is preceded in death by his son Randy Shurtz, stepson Chuck Guffey, sisters Lois Lemke and Helena Kerr and his brother Bud Shurtz. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
