With heavy hearts, the family of Hazel Mae Smith announces her passing on February 2, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on August 31, 1936, Hazel lived a long and fulfilling life, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew her.
She was the beloved wife of Ronald T. Smith, with whom she shared many joyful years of marriage. Hazel was a devoted mother to her sons, Ronald (Joyce) Smith and Thomas (Kathy) Smith, nurturing them with love and care throughout their lives.
As a grandmother, she embraced her role with warmth and enthusiasm, deeply loving her grandchildren: Ray (Christy) Smith, Todd (Shannon) Bagdonas, Stephen (Rachelle) Smith and Thomas Smith. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Rodney, Madison, Makayla, Lucy, Anna, Ethan, Tyler, Megan, Chloe, Isabella, Ashlynn, and Max.
Hazel's family tree extends even further with her great-great-grandchildren: Hazel, Nick, Chase, Bryson, Kolton and Jackson, each carrying forward her spirit and zest for life.
Her family and friends will forever remember Hazel for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
