Obituary
Janet Elaine Smith, born on January 26, 1941, in Wyandotte, MI, passed away on July 26, 2024, in Trenton, MI, at the age of 83. Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald A. Smith; her parents, Ignazio and Stella Jelsomeno; and her brother, Joseph Jelsomeno.
She is survived by her loving children, son Donald W. Smith and daughter Lori (Wayne) Sieloff. Janet was also a proud grandmother to her five cherished grandchildren: Duncan and William Smith, and Madison, Morgan, and Zachary Sieloff. Additionally, she leaves behind her brother, Gerald Jelsomeno, who will miss her dearly.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton. Instate will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 9:30 am, followed by a service at 10:00 am. Interment will take place immediately after the service at Michigan Memorial Park.
Janet's memory will be forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
