Obituary
Jesse Lee Stevens, born on August 11, 1984, in Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on June 25, 2026, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 41. Jesse was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, whose presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Jesse devoted many years of his life to his work as an honored brother and electrician with IBEW Local 58, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. His colleagues remember him as an incredible person who always went above and beyond in his work.
Outside of his professional life, Jesse had an array of interests that painted the picture of a life lived fully. He had a deep passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as hunting and fishing. He cherished spending time with family and friends, Jesse had a heart of gold and enjoyed bringing a smile to everyone's face around him. Jesse had a love for travel, taking long rides on his bike, music, concerts, and classic cars, and he was fond of good food, especially his pizza.
Jesse was a devoted spouse to his beloved wife, Mandi Janz, and a loving father to his son, Nathan Stevens. His family was the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Preceded in death by his parents LaVerne and Warren William Wintermantel, Sr., Jesse is survived by his wife, Mandi, and son, Nathan. His parents, Jimmie Allen (Kim) Stevens. He leaves behind siblings Warren C. Wintermantel, Jr., Lynda (Bryan) Beeby, Jimbo (Dallas) Stevens, Stephany (Justin) Mora, and Nai'a Aplaca. His legacy is further carried on by nieces and nephews Julia Wintermantel, Kenzye Beeby, Gaege Beeby, Brody Beeby, Jacob Stevens, Ayden Stevens, Adalyn Stevens, Brookelynn Haswell, Axton Haswell, Zaden Haswell, Elias Mora, Wesley Stewart, Nevaeh Janz, Justice Carnes, and Jaxsyn Carnes. Jesse also leaves behind his cherished furry family members, Mia and Nala.
Cremation will take place at "The Witness Crematory," located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Though he is no longer with us, Jesse's spirit and memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. His life, marked by love, laughter, and an enduring spirit, will be remembered and celebrated by those fortunate enough to have known him
