Obituary

SMIT, John A., age 73, of Taylor, December 31, 2020. He was a devoted husband to Phyllis and father to their four children, Richard, Tricia, Holly, and Becky. He was a U of M graduate with a Bachelors in Aero Space Engineering. He loved football and enjoyed watching the games on TV. He loved model railroading and strategy war games as well. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his life, and he cherished every minute with his family. The memory of our dad will be with us forever in our hearts, and he wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to say one last time, GO BLUE!
