Condolences

  • Until today I did not want to believe Jorge passed away and so I did not look for this obituary. Jorge and I go back to the days of P.A.L baseball at Webster, afternoons at the paper station on 24th. An odd memory of those times was taking my dog on my route because Jorge took his or at least I remember his dog around the station. I remember seeing him dance at the Mexican festival downtown and thanks to Facebook we reconnected in our midlife. From pictures he seem devoted to his family and Cowboys. His devotion to the Cowboys is something I would tease him about. He knew it was all in the name of fun. Rest In Peace Amigo. Alejandro from 24th near Randall. The other side of Vernor. Alejandro A. Alvarez
  • Still don’t want to believe that lifelong friend Jorge has been called home. So very sorry. He was an incredible person, always sharing his wit and sense of humor. Very proud of his Mexican heritage. He will be missed immensely. Grateful he crossed my life journey. Prayers of strength to the family. Laura Barroso Olmeda
