SZCZESNIAK, Joseph, age 79, of Carleton, September 24, 2018. Beloved husband of Nora Szczesniak. Loving father of Robert Szczesniak, Patrick Novack and Timothy Novack. Dearest grandfather of Brandon, Brittany and Gabby. He is preceded in death by his son Joey Szczesniak, his parents John and Catherine Szczesniak and his brother John Szczesniak. His cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Dear Joe, I first met you in early 1965 when I was five years old and you were married to my sister Elaina. I knew I liked you immediately and always loved and respected you. In March 2019 I drove up to Michigan from NC to visit my old stomping grounds in Detroit and to visit family and friends. Unfortunately you had passed some months before which I did not know!
