Obituary

SLY, Julie A., age 61, of Southgate, July 4, 2024. Beloved mother of Courtney Sly, Neil Sly, Olivia Sly, and her furbabies Mila, Toffee, and Nilla. She is survived by her siblings Dale (Nelia) Miller, Michelle (Chris) Pozdol, and Tiffany (Dan) Feasby. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Donna Miller, and her dogs Roxie, Lenny, and Vader. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the River Rouge Animal Shelter or the Animal Resource Funding Foundation.

I am saddened by your loss. I worked with Julie for several years at Danny's Foods in Wyandotte and I would see her at our yearly get together. It was always a pleasure to play "Catch-up" with news about kids and pets...both of which she was very proud. She will be missed. Edie Wehrmeister
