SANDS, Kenneth S., age 73, of Plymouth., May 16, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Anne Regis Sands. Loving father of Brian (Christy) Shensky, Julie (Anthony) Yonkus, Sean (Lisa) Sands and Christopher Sands. Dearest grandfather of Claire, Chloe, Christian and Gabriel. He is also survived by sisters Geraldine Olszewski and Dorothy Nalepa. He is preceded in death by his father Vincent Shensky, mother Katherine Shensky, brother Chester Shensky and sister Rosemarie Cornaccnia.

My deepest condolences to the family of Ken Sands. We worked together when he was the chief engineer at WRCJ in Detroit and we became good friends. In recent years we talked often on the amateur radio and we stayed in touch talking on the Northville Amateur Radio repeater. Rest in peace, Ken and we'll catch you further down the log, as we like to say in ham radio.
