Obituary

Kevin Joseph Souva, born on May 12, 1962, in Monroe, passed away on December 28, 2025, in Trenton at the age of 63.

He found joy spending time outdoors fishing and hunting—activities that brought him peace and fulfillment. He was a true enthusiast of an ice cold Coke and pizza.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lloyd and Betty Souva, and his sister, Dawn Souva. Kevin leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him in their hearts. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lois Souva, and his cherished children, Justin (Angelika) Souva and Joel Souva. Kevin was also the proud grandfather of Arthur Souva, who brought immense joy to his life.

Kevin's memory will be treasured by all who knew him, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Condolences

  • Kevin was born May 12 , while we were being married. At the breakfast Lloyd came in passing out cigars announcing A Boy!! And Kevin was a chip off the block. He like his Dad always had something to tell you that either made you laugh or a big smile on your face. Kevin always had a great sense of humor. Always a joy to be with. He loved to discuss the Lions, Tigers and top high school football teams. He enjoyed sports!! I can see him now discussing all those with Brad and Scott. The Souva boys are together. We miss them. Aunt Suzie Souva
  • Sending condolences to Lois and the entire Souva Family. Scott Beaudrie
  • Lous, Justin, and Joel, I’m so sorry for your loss. Kevin always brought a smile and laughter to family gatherings. The song “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every day will forever remind me of Kevin. I imagine he’s probably where the fish are and listening to Uncle Loyd tell stories that get better every time they’re told. I will miss your daily humor, cuz! love you forever, Karrie Karrie Souva-Morisette
