  • Larry has been part of the Tanner family since he and Barb married. And he was loved as a brother, not just a brother-in-law. Larry left us with 2 beautiful nieces, and all their children. He left us with his friendship, stories, laughs and love. You and Gary keep the fish fed and we will all see you again. David and Marla Tanner
  • I worked with Larry at Ford Motor Company for 8 years, our jobs were next to each other. He was one of the finest men that I ever had the chance to know. His gentleness and kindness was one of his finest attributes. He was very easy to talk to and many times we would share our thoughts about our families. I loved his sense of humor and smile and he had a way of making my days brighter. We kept in touch after retirement and spoke often about how much we were both enjoying life. He was a great friend and I will miss his laugh and wonderful conversations. He often spoke of how much he liked living in Tennessee. I want his family to know that there is another Angel in Heaven and his name is "LARRY". I will miss him, a lot...... Diane O'Brien
  • So sorry, I have known Larry all my life and there has never been a sweeter better person than Larry. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for peace and comfort. Kathy and Robert Barringer
  • My heart goes out to the most loving , caring and strongest family I've ever met. God bless you all. Now I may have not know Larry Very long but, in the past decade I learned that he was a soft spoken honest man. His voice had the most perfect southern twang. That when he told you a story you was captivated and wondered what he would say next. Shit, I would ask him questions just to hear his accented answers. He talk to me and others as if he knew them all his life. Larry was an all American boy who grew up to be a brave soldier . He put his life on the line to protect our freedom. Now that this brave man has moved on to his higher call of duty he protects our hearts. He protects our souls and those souls of his loved ones who he joins in eternal sunshine. R.I.P Larry Leonard Betancourt
