Larry Leon Studdard; Age 84 of Brownstown Township, Michigan, formerly of Taylor, Michigan.
Born October 9, 1941 to John and Georgia Studdard (nee: Harris) in Harland, Kentucky.
Larry was a cherished father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life on August 16, 2026 at his residence.
Larry graduated from high school and dedicated his career to the automotive industry, where he earned the respect and admiration of his peers. He was known for his hard work, steady dedication, and love for his family. He enjoyed roller blading, gardening, antique cars, camping, and biking.
Larry is predeceased by his beloved wife, Susa (nee: Tanner). He is survived by his two loving daughters, Debra (Joe) Haener and Marie (Rudy) Weirich, who will carry forward his legacy of love and compassion. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Susan (Bill) Louria, Joseph Haener, Gary Haener, Rudy (Amanda) Weirich, Jr., Andrew Weirich (Chelsea), Lauren (Dom) Zahara, and Garrett Weirich (Gabby). Great Grandchildren, Ian, Austin, Kendall, Roman, Carson, Ethan, Mason, Brayen, Lorelei. Harper, Colden, Amrie, Callum and Harleigh. Larry is also survived by his brother, Gary "Clark" Studdard, who shared in the bond of family. Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Claudette Vargra.
The family will gather to honor Larry's life and legacy at funeral services to be held on August 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM. These services will take place at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, 30895 W. Huron River Drive, Huron Township, Michigan, where friends and family will come together to visit from 9 - 11 AM at the funeral home. Following his service at 11 AM he will be transferred in a procession by white horses on a carriage for his burial to rest with his wife at Huron Valley Cemetery in Flat Rock, Michigan.
In this time of mourning, the family expresses their gratitude for the support and love shown by friends and the community. Larry Leon Studdard will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. May he rest in eternal peace.
