Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Larry Thomas Snider, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Larry passed away on April 1, 2026, in Southgate, Michigan, at the age of 85.
Born on September 9, 1940, in Taylor, Michigan, Larry was the cherished son of the late Virgil and Barbara Snider. A dedicated family man, Larry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Adeline Snider.
Larry's life was filled with the joys of family and simple pleasures. He spent over 40 years as a manager at Kroger, where his steadfast dedication and work ethic were an inspiration to many. Outside of work, Larry found happiness in the great outdoors, particularly through his love of hunting. He was a devoted fan of the Red Wings and cherished every moment spent watching his grandchildren play sports, always their biggest supporter.
He leaves behind a legacy of love in his surviving family: his eight children, who will carry forward his values and spirit; 16 grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy; and numerous great-grandchildren, who will hear stories of his life and love for them.
Though he has departed from this world, Larryโs memory will forever be held dear by all who knew him. His kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to his family will remain an enduring testament to a life well-lived.
