Laurel Kay Stull, a cherished wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend, passed away on March 7, 2025, in Riverview, Michigan. Born on June 2, 1955, in Trenton, Michigan, she lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family and passions.

Laurie's gentle spirit and loving nature were evident in all aspects of her life. She found joy in sewing, creating beautiful pieces that will be treasured by those who knew her. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met, and her memory will forever be held dear.

Preceding Laurie in death are her step-father and mother, Jim and Julia Banwell, as well as her father, John Schrader. She is also preceded by one loving brother and two loving sisters. Her legacy of love and kindness continues through her surviving family: her devoted husband, Fredrick Stull; her beloved children, Wendy (Stu) Hursin, Heide (Patrick) Stokes, and Kimberly (Kyle Byrd) Stull; and her treasured granddaughter, Julia Stull. Laurie is also survived by three loving brothers and numerous friends and family who will miss her dearly.

Laurie leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure in the hearts of those who knew her. She was 69 years old at the time of her passing, and her presence in our lives will be dearly missed.

  • Loved my big sister, (in law). She was always the bright spot at family gatherings and loved her laugh and all the crafts she did over the years. Many times reaching out when we traveled with the military and always opening her home when we stopped by. She will be missed. • I grew up down the street from Laurie and her family, still consider Wendy a close friend, more like a cousin. All kinds of happy memories dancing in their driveway and playing in their backyard in the 80s. So sad for this loss, she was a good soul. Sending my condolences to her family. Melissa-Lucia Kitchen
