Obituary
Lawrence Sikora, born on July 19, 1934, in Detroit, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2024, in Flat Rock at the age of 90.
A dedicated and hardworking man, Lawrence retired from a long and fulfilling career at Ford Motor Company. His interests were as diverse as they were passionate, encompassing woodworking, classic cars, and most importantly, spending time with his family and grandchildren. He cherished the moments spent at his beloved cottage up north, often found relaxing on the rocking chair, soaking in the serenity of nature.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Sikora; his siblings, Chet Sikora, John Sikora, Tony Sikora, Terri Sikora, and Joan Sikora.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Sikora; his children, Steven (Laura) Sikora and Brian (Peggy) Sikora; and his treasured grandchildren, Emma, Ethan, and Lalyta.
Lawrence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to his family will live on in their hearts forever.
